Jonagold is a popular apple variety that is a cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious apples. It was developed in the 1950s in New York and has since become a well-loved apple worldwide.
Full ripeness and best presentation of the fruit reaches by January. Medium-sized apples, 170-220 g, rounded, slightly elongated with yellow-green skin and red blush. The pulp is very juicy, with a dense granular structure, sweet and sour, with a pleasant aroma.
